Being quite into fractal math I've taken a look at Apophysis before. Thought it was an interesting program but rather boring for eye-candy. What you've done with it is absolutely fantastic! Wanna post a little tutorial on how you get images like this?
I'm glad that you find my images interesting! Writting a tut. is acutally impossible for me, cause I'm a Big Time Tweaker! I have never read anyone else's tuts. (I don't want to make their stuff, I want something different), I'm not into the numbers or even writting params or scripts. Even though I may use 3, 4 or more scripts to an image to aquire many different versions of an image. Tweaking is my thing, I take what other's may call garbage and see if I can find the hidden treasures that no one has found. So I guess you can say it's all in my fingers and the patience to tease out a descent image. Sorry that I haven't been much help!
Hugs,
Patti
Not at all! I certainly know what it's like to tweak parameters endlessly. I haven't played around with Apophysis too much because I find IFS fractals less than the escape-time variety. Might take a second look now. Have you ever played around with Fractint though? Now there's one to get lost in!
just popping in to welcome you to SA.N, i hope you like it here!
